MECCA can honestly do no wrong. They’ve had a killer year with more brands and products, including the launch of their own in house brand MECCA MAX and the new Mecca Cosmetica line MECCAmorphosis.

MECCAmorphosis, was launched a little while ago under the Mecca Cosmetica brand. As the website says, “it’s made in Australia, it’s packed with botanical actives like Kakadu plum extract, amino acids and plant polypeptides and it’s going to help your skin undergo a complete MECCAmorphosis.”

For me, I purchased the Transforming Facial Cleanser before I went on holidays in search for an everyday allround cleanser that was travel friendly. I love the gel-to-milk formula, the beautiful smell and how gentle it feels on the skin (even the eye area). It leaves my skin clean and radiant, including the removal of makeup. I also love the lightweight yet chic packaging that fits easily into travel pouches. The only con was I don’t find this to be a treatment cleanser that “retexturises” as the product information states.

Fellow Beauty Loop members, some of you would have scored the full size Multi-Purpose Plumping Balm in the Level 2 box. It’s definitely not a thick balm, so my favourite way to use it is as a daytime moisturiser – particularly after a lunchtime gym session. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and plump without the greasiness you may fear from ingredients like shea butter and avocado oil. Surprisingly it works well under the eyes for perfected makeup application. Given one pump absorbs quite well, I wouldn’t use it as a) a mask, purely due to the amount of product required, or b) a moisturiser in the cooler months, only as a primer.

Overall, very happy with the two products I’ve tried from the MECCAmorphosis Face Series. I wouldn’t hesitate to try more products from the line and no better time than with all those amazing holiday gift packs on offer at Mecca!

Has anyone else undergone a MECCAmorphosis?

  • Mecca products are killing it! I’m obsessed with their sunscreen, illuminating primer and setting sprays. I got the plumping balm but didn’t really know how to use it so I’ll try it as a morning moisturiser 🙂

These both sound so lovely! I have always lovely the Mecca range but haven’t tried either of these. I see what you mean about the balm, I don’t really get why it’s called a balm, but it still sounds lovely!

Such a beautiful blog post. WOW

  • I feel like Mecca have been going from strength to strength lately and even though I can’t get my hands on any of their new launches now that I’ve moved away, I’m definitely keen to check them out whenever I end up moving back. I love the packaging and branding and think they’ve done such a great job of making it look so beautiful and elegant and classic. That cleanser looks lovely and I like the idea of a gel-to-milk formula, that sounds pretty unique and I don’t think I’ve tried anything like it before.

    • Just when you think they can’t get any better, they do! Really well thought out segments and branding. Enough to suck me in haha. Hope you get to check them out in the near future!

  • I’ve been loving Mecca’s own brand releases as well! I have that soap from my birthday as well as the plumping balm and I’ve tried a few of their Primers like Soft Focus which is great.
